Sustainability

The materials behind RSM laces and our approach to responsible production.

Durable Materials

Our laces use high-tenacity woven fibers built for longevity β€” a longer-lasting lace means fewer replacements and less waste.

Low-Waste Production

We plan color runs to minimize excess and recycle production offcuts where possible, keeping usable material out of landfills.

Quality Over Quantity

Every pair is finished to last through daily wear, weather, and re-lacing β€” the most sustainable product is the one you don't replace.

Our Approach

Sustainability at RSM starts with durability. A shoelace that frays after a month is a waste of material and your money β€” so we engineer ours to last. We work to reduce excess inventory through focused, repeatable color runs, and we're continuously evaluating lower-impact materials without sacrificing the strength and finish our community expects.

What's Next

We're exploring recycled fiber blends, plastic-free packaging, and take-back options for worn laces. As we grow, we'll keep raising the bar on how our products are made β€” and we'll be transparent about progress.
